Over father’s day we went to Illinois to visit Taylor’s great grandma and grandpa Lynch. She had a great time meeting them and playing at their house. We also got a chance to visit Jane’s side of the family…they had a huge get together in our honor and what a fun time! Jane’s brother has a farm with horses and Taylor got to ride three different ones by the time the day was over. She is STILL talking about it. She also had a great time playing with the other little girls that are her distant, distant cousins!
While the trip was pretty whirlwind, the small towns that Jane and Mike are from were a great reminder of how nice it can be to slow down and enjoy the little things….watching the kids play and discover, enjoying some good company, and sitting back and drinking some beer!
We were grateful to have the experience to spend some time with their side of the family and create some memories.
